Pearson/Brozik win The Camaraderie!

Even though we had to work around Mother Nature, we were able to complete the 4^th annual member/guest tournament called The Camaraderie!

The flight winners in order from flight one to flight nine were as follows:  Slade Siverson and Kirk Stensrud, Phil Monson and John Oien, Kenny Nielsen and Mark Hughes, Tom Olson and Al Eiswald, John Olson and Darren Schumacher, Greg Pearson and Chris Brozik, Shanda Frank and Travis Steffensen, Chester Frank and Al Christianson, and Denise Olson and Angie Schumacher.

Each of these flight winners competed against each other to determine the team champions.  Greg Pearson and his guest Chris Brozik edged out Kenny Nielsen and his guest Mark Hughes on the final hole to claim the team champion title!  It was an exciting finish!.

Even though we were excited about having this tourney, our main concern was making sure we took care of the course with the amount of rain that we received.  We were able to use golf cars on Friday  night but we restricted the course to walking only on Saturday

This tournament is limited to 36 member/guest teams.  Registration for the 2011 event will begin on February 1^st, 2011 and the tentative date is June 4^th and 5^th of 2011.  Past players are NOT guaranteed a spot as we want every member to be able to have a chance to sign up and play in this event.  It’s not a closed event to the same 36 teams every year so please know that if you have any interest in playing, you may certainly get in.  The first 36 paid teams with registration beginning on February 1, 2011, will have a spot in the tourney!
